About a decade ago, Lincoln Sprague was living in Connecticut, working as a delivery driver for an airplane propeller company. While driving through New England, every time Lincoln would drive into Vermont, he could hear God whisper to him “Vermont is where you are supposed to be.” Elsewhere, Jamie Sannino was a student at Word of Life Bible Institute and was sent to help a ministry in Vermont for a weekend. While there, Jamie could hear God whisper to her that Vermont is where she is supposed to be. Eventually, Jamie and Lincoln dated, got married, and were called to plant a church in Vermont. Church of the Valley is the realization of this call from God. Lincoln received his B.S. in Pastoral Studies degree from Liberty University, while Jamie graduated with a Bible Certificate for completing a 1 year Bible program at Word of life. Church of the Valley was launched in 2020 in the middle of a Pandemic with Lincoln as the Planting Pastor and his wife Jamie along with 2 people from their previous church. Through God’s grace, over 4 years later the church has started renting a bigger location with a dedicated children’s ministry room (The Venture Zone) and ample space to grow in the sanctuary.
